A skilled prosecutor with over 15 years experience, Mrs Macleod brings particular expertise in the investigation and prosecution of sexual offences, having headed up the dedicated sexual offences team in Lothian and Borders since it was established in October 2007.

Causing Death by Driving
The Lord Advocate, Elish Angiolini QC, today wrote to the Justice Spokespersons in the Scottish Parliament to provide information on the implementation of the new offences introduced to the Road Traffic Act 1988 of Causing Death by Careless, or Inconsiderate, Driving (Section 2B) and Causing Death by Driving: Unlicensed, Disqualified, or Uninsured Drivers (Section 3ZB).
