ROSEPARK CARE HOME: REPORT SUBMITTED TO CROWN OFFICE
The Crown Office and Procurator Fiscal Service today confirmed that the Area Procurator Fiscal for Lanarkshire has now submitted a report to Crown Office on the circumstances of the fire at Rosepark Nursing Home, which took place on 31st January 2004.
The Procurator Fiscal's report is substantial and will now be considered in detail by Crown Counsel. It is anticipated that this will take some time. Thereafter, Crown Counsel will issue instructions as to the appropriate further procedure to be taken in this investigation.
The next of kin have been, and will continue to be, kept informed.
