Lord Advocates Guidelines - Detention, Treatment and Questioning by Police Officers of Persons arrested under section 41 and schedule 8 of the Terrorism Act 2000 [Guidance]

These guidelines have been developed in light of the Terrorism Act 2006, which amends Schedule 8 of the Terrorism Act 2000 (TACT) to extend the maximum amount of time a person can be detained without charge, after being arrested under section 41 of the Terrorism Act 2000, from 14 to 28 days
