The Lord Advocate, the Rt Hon Elish Angiolini QC, today published guidelines to Chief Constables in Scotland on the Investigation and Reporting of Sexual Offences.
Prosecutors have secured the recovery of a record £2.4 million in criminal assets in just six months, equating to an average of £13,000 per day. This brings the total amount recovered since the Act came into force to almost £23.5 million.
